Favorites on Friday



1. Our Trivia Team 2.0 won 2nd this week at Trivia at Fado's! We won $50. We also featured "Intuition Cards" where you can use the card to overrule the answers of everyone else. You can only do this once per game, though. I used my Intuition Card once and got it wrong (Custer's middle name is not Herman). Dilon used his Intuition Card once and got it right (can't remember question, but nebula overruled the previous answer of cosmos).



2. I'm attending a rock concert tonight...The Battle of the Bands, featuring up and coming talent in the Henderson area. 90 minutes of sheer musical joy!



3. The One Book Henderson pedometers came in earlier this week. I've walked at least 5676 steps today! In theory, 10000 steps in 5 miles. We'll be giving those out at the "Walk This Way" One Book Henderson Kickoff at the Galleria Mall on September 12th.



4. Laurie lent me a book called "The Back Page" that is chock full of Staff Day potential trivia questions. I am revelling in the possibilities. Famous first lines...famous last lines...



5. I want to see Julie and Julia this weekend. Can you say that's a favorite if you haven't already seen it? Anticipation can be a favorite, right?
