2010 50 book challenge
I've finished a couple more books...
9. Safe Harbor by Luanne Rice. A story about the family dymanics of an Aunt and her two nieces who suddenly become her responsibility after the accidental death of their parents. There is also a love interest and a bit of a mystery while they attempt to discover whether the death was accidental or not. I liked it.
10. Sworn to Silence by Linda Castillo. Story is about a young woman who left the Amish community after the brutal murders of her parents. Now, 16 years later she is back as the town's police chief. But, the murderer than she believed was dead appears to be back and she is trying to catch him while he is targeting her as his next victim. The murders are more graphic than I usually am able to handle (if Lisa knew I was reading this she would have told me not to)! The story keeps the readers interest as it twists and turns to the exciting conclusion.
I'm now reading Run for your life by James Patterson, still working on An Amish Gathering and almost done with That Holiday Feeling... left over from the holidays when I didn't have time to read.
