Fave Fives

I've been on the verge of falling asleep all day for no good reason, so I thought a blog post might wake me up!

1. My husband and I FINALLY got a house! We close next week:) We've been looking, offering, and losing out since last March, so it has been quite a journey.

2. Oscar, my unofficial virtual library cat, learned how to put out a candle with his paw.

3. I got a book light as a belated Christmas gift, and it's the best thing I never knew I wanted (which is the best kind of gift).

4. I'm going to paint a chalk board calendar on a wall, and I can't wait to write all over it.

5. I'm starting a woodworking class on Monday!

As for my fifty books, I have yet to finish any in 2010, but I am reading the following:

The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

Nightlight by the Harvard Lampoon

some random book about writing who's title I have forgotten.
