Fave Five Friday for JBV
1. My duvet cover is yellow. This makes me think I'm sleeping on the sun. Or in butter. Not sure which. Either one is good.
2. Silverman Triathlon is this weekend! We've rounded up lots of folks to volunteer, new and old. I so love volunteering for this event. The athletes are inspiring. Especially Therese and Lisa, who will be doing the half-tri!
3. People keep giving/loaning me books, unsolicited. Therese gave me a book on Alaska that got donated. Lisa loaned me a book on running. A random patron gave me a copy of "Eric Lidell: Pure Gold" - the guy from the movie Chariots of Fire. Madhu pulled an old international cookbook for me from the donations. Sarah loaned me Harry Potters 1 and 3 - in French. Not only do I love the books themselves, I am touched that others are thinking of me, and so spot on.
4. In return, I lent someone "The Omnivore's Dilemma," as well as placed a vegan cookbook on hold for someone else who is trying it out. Super fun!
5. The French word for "Hufflepuff" is Poufsouffle. Doesn't that just make you giggle?
