Fave Five for My Friday
1. The picture book The Boy Who Was Raised by Librarians. Go now and find it (GIB and PVL both have copies on their shelves; I have GRE's and MAL's is checked out) and read it... it'll re-affirm your want to work in a library.
2. Found cheap airfare tickets to go to New York in March for my cousin Danielle's wedding and even better I'll be flying on JetBlue! Now to get a good car rental for four days as well as a hotel somewhere in Suffolk County for a decent price...
3. My step-dad's schedule changed and now I'm getting to work almost an hour and a half later. No more getting here at 6:15am or 6:30am!
4. A trip to Cedar City planned this Saturday with the fam. The weather's supposed to be great and I've always heard about that Cracker Barrel place...
5. Tomorrow evening, it's a Halloween event extravaganza: first stop is the Clark County Heritage Museum with the niece and nephew and then it's over to Dooley Elementary for their Harvest/Halloween Carnival. I remember enjoying those as a kid... button-making, cake walks, etc.
Have a great week, all!
