Finally Fave Five Friday (Two Days Late)

1. I've been quiet on here because I've been working on my book club book for this month, The Women, by T.C. Boyle. Finally, I've finished it, and it was worth the read. About Frank Lloyd Wright and his women. Told in manner of the movie Memento. Read it, but plan on it taking a while.

2. Roller skating last night. Super fun and only one fall! And it wasn't my fault - some kid fell and took me down with him.

3. Indian food immediately prior to that at Namaste. Naan bread, chicken tikka masala, yum yum yum.

4. Had most excellent reference question while working Saturday. Woman recognized my accent (such as it is - it usually only appears when I'm tired, which I most certainly am) and she is from a city about 20 miles north of where I grew up. Was able to supply her with two military autobiographies without straining too much (General Wesley Clark, and Colin Powell).

5. Still keeping up spin classes early Wednesday mornings and swim lessons. Even an occasional lift class on Saturday mornings. Variety in the workouts is a very good thing.

Off to look for the next book! (Feeling doubtful about finishing 50 books in 2010, but here's hoping!)
