Spectacular Sunday Seven by JBV

OK, I upped the ante since I'm late by two days.

1. Early Wednesday morning I went to my first spin class in a LONG time. Good to break up my routine. I sweated buckets but had a great time. The instructor turned off the lights, so it was rather surreal to be riding a bike at 5:30am, listening to loud music, in the twilight.

2. Three day weekend, that is really just a two-day weekend for me since I worked yesterday, but then it would have been just a one-day weekend normally, and so I'm happy!

3. Hopefully two good football games today. Go Chargers! Go Vikings!

4. Impromptu mentor/mentee meeting on Friday evening where we did talk about work, did make a plan for our next outing, but also had wine, quesadillas, and potstickers. Whoever paired my mentee and I together was spot on...we are having a great time and learning so much. Also, yay for spontanaety, which I definitely do not indulge in often enough.

5. Currently, I am wearing fuzzy flannel dark blue pajama pants with stars on them which are the softest things ever. Ever.

6. Thanks to the new netflix account, I've watch Bourdain in Paris, Iceland, New Jersey, and Vietnam. In my next career or life, I want to be one of those TV hosts who get to travel the world. There is no where I wouldn't go, if given the chance. No where.

7. I'm loving Justin's 50 book challenge smackdown, so I'll end the list with what I'm reading currently. Haven't completed them yet though...
a. Born on a Blue Day: A Memoir by Daniel Tammet
b. One Thousand White Women: The Journals of May Dodd by Jim Fergus
c. Eric Liddell: Pure Gold by David McCasland.
Coincidence that all book titles have subtitles? I think not!

Happy Spectacular Sunday!
