4. Using LibraryThing to help a patron find a book. She had just finished Peter Mayle's Year in Provence and wanted more books like that. Off I went to my usual resource, Novelist, but there was no author read-a-like for him. I then went to his LibraryThing author page, here, and saw that his biggest tags were travel and memoir. Created a tagmash and found a list of good books and authors, most of which were on the shelf!
5. Seeing this book in the bins and nabbing it. Expect a review of Geektastic: Stores from the Nerd Herd as a review on NN soon...
