Saturday Fav 5: I didn’t work Friday so here they are on Saturday instead.

• I was not able to see the sky at all today when I left my house (west side of the valley). The sky was a dark gray and the clouds were indistinguishable. It's pretty unusual not to be able to see any sky: normally the sky goes on forever. It wasn't until I passed over the 15 that I could see the sunniness over Henderson. Maybe the storminess will make its way here.


• My cat WonTon. We had to put him to sleep this past Sunday. He’s been with me for 14 years. He lived in Texas, California, and Nevada; he even pre-dates my husband (by about 6 months). Sorry for the dismal favorite here, but he was a really good cat.


• The genre labels and descriptions on our paperback racks. I just like the paperbacks a lot.


• Dunkin’ Doughnuts Coffee – it smells so GOOOOODDD!


• the wiiFit game – it doesn’t substitute going to the gym but it keeps me moving on my off days.
