Friday's Five Fave's:

1. Elizabeth came back from vacation and taught the computer class yesterday. Welcome back Eliza and Happy Birthday!

2. Went to our friends house for dinner and they made us a traditional filipino dinner. Three words: Yummy, yummy, yummy!

3. I just finished reading the Glass Castle and really liked it. My background is in children's, but since I started working in adults three months ago, I've completed 7 adult titles. Hooray, I'm slowly crossing over. Oh, the new cookbook Down Home with the Neely's is excellent!

4. We've been experimenting with our new book and claim jumpers display area and the results are good. People seem to be browsing and checking out a lot more of these titles. We're also working on a staff picks display and all of us in the reference department "simpsonized" ourselves to be a part of the display. Check us out:

5. It's the end of a busy, but good week. Next week I'll be in New York where the weather will only be in the 70's, hooray!
