1. Fave #1 - I Heart Love Sushi on Eastern! I always call it I "Heart," rather than I "Love." I went again last night and had lovely rounds of salmon, yellowtail and tuna sushi, as well as a tuna roll. It was a pretty light evening. Steamed and/or fried gyoza (fancy-schmancy word for potstickers) are amazing as well! Something about that restaurant brings out deep, heartfelt conversations, too. And it also helps that the sushi chef knows my fiance and me now. It's our version of Cheers!
2. Fave #2 - It wasn't completely dark when I started my run yesterday morning at 5:25 a.m. So much easier to get myself out of bed, even if there is only the slightest bit of sun coming up! I got to try to figure out if it was astronomical twilight, nautical twilight, or civil twilight. I decided that I started in nautical, and ended in civil.
3. Fave #3 - I have a great view out my office wall o' windows. I've seen a roadrunner - I'm still waiting to see a rabbit. And it was the coolest thing on the day it snowed and I could watch it falling and falling, and I was listening to my "Charlie Brown Christmas" CD while I worked.
4. Fave #4 - Some awesome Adult Services staff set up the conference room for a program yesterday evening...I, of course, rushed in the room at about 5:10, expecting the census tester to be there, waiting for me to set the tables up. Much to my delight, they were already there, and she reported that they were set up when she got there. Thank you thank you thank you!
